MAZZARELLI
The story of Mazzarelli began in 1960 in Castellana Grotte, in the province of Bari, with an artisan workshop specializing in top quality mens' shirts. One memorable cause for particular pride and honour was the invitation by Pope Benedict XVI to a private audience for the consignment of three personal shirts, tailor-made and sewn entirely by hand. For over three generations the family Mazzarelli has been transforming quality clothes and refined shirts, with unchanged passion and an ever envolving updated look for the most demanding men. Today Mazzarelli shirts are a synonym for the worldwide prestige of Italian craftsmanship, due to the different moods the collection is categorized in Mazzarelli Green Stone and Mazzarelli Blu. The Green Stone selection is garment-dyed shirts with a solid, refined and elegant style, while the Blu is linked to the world of denim and washed fabrics, always with the same eye for detail as in the other collections. Besides ready to wear, the Su-Misura (made to measure) is an appreciated service for those who require specific measurements or just in search of a particular fabric. Every single garment is chalked out and cut by hand, respecting the symmetries of the fabric patterns and the various parts of the shirt, then put together by the skilled tailors. The sides are stitched with French seams and the sleeves are basted and felled by hand. All Mazzarelli shirts are made with the fabrics from the best Italian cotton mills like Albini, Thomas Mason, Sic Tess, but also with the excellent Swiss cotton of the prestigious Alumo and luxurious Australian mother of pearl buttons. Selecting a Mazzarelli garment means wearing a model created and fitted exclusively to your own physicality. Between pins, needles, threads the beautiful materials form shape and soul. Values and quality are always rewarded
